Do I need new brakes?

Generally, the first indication the driver will notice is a squealing sound.  If the pad is less than ¼ inch thick (about 3 millimeters) we advise you to have your brakes inspected, especially if it’s been a long time since your last inspection. If you hear a deep, low noise that sounds like metal grinding or a  rumbling sound, that can be a sign that not only are your brake pads worn away, but that your brake discs and calipers are making contact .Some cars have an indicator light on the dashboard that will signal when it’s time to replace the brake pads. Brake pads are generally thought to be good from anywhere between 30,000-35,000 miles. However, the real answer to how long brake pads can last will vary from vehicle to vehicle and from driver to driver

My car won’t start

you turn the key and … nothing ?

It may seem terrible and costly, but hang on my friend!

Check the battery it may be completely drained,( by using a multimeter) or drained enough to prevent a start. Why not go for it and check the battery terminals making sure there is no corrosion and the terminals are securely installed creating a good enough electrical contact. If all this is good then check if you have spark, by lifting a coil off the spark plug and hear a ticking sound, basically no ticking sound, so electricity going to the plug. If you can remove a sparkplug and see wetness on the plug you should be getting fuel, or if you hear the fuel pump running. Once more: if all this is good then you may be looking at the starter motor. You can contact us and get a quote. We’re here to assist you
